At Cedar & Steam, we curate wellness experiences designed to help you reconnect—to yourself, to the present moment, and to the people around you. Through sauna, movement, breath, and intentional connection, we create space to slow down, feel grounded, and remember: we’re not meant to do life alone.

The Journey

Cedar & Steam started with a question: What’s next?

After more than a decade in the fitness and wellness industry—as a trainer, instructor, studio owner, and teacher—I found myself at a crossroads. I knew I wanted to keep helping people feel better, but I also knew I was craving something different.

Around the same time, my husband Sean and I moved from Minnesota to Colorado and were navigating a season of big change and loss. We were searching for what was next, both personally and professionally, and I kept coming back to the same things that have always mattered most to me: wellness, meaningful connection, and creating spaces where people can simply be themselves.

Then we found a mobile sauna.

We tried the experience, and something clicked. It wasn’t just the heat. It was the way people slowed down. Phones disappeared. Conversations happened. Strangers laughed together. For a little while, people were simply present.

We wanted to create more of that.

So Cedar & Steam was born—not just as a sauna business, but as a way to curate experiences that help people reconnect to themselves and to each other.

I host our sessions because that’s where my background and my passion come together. Whether we’re moving, breathing, sweating, sharing a meal, or simply sitting around the fire, I want every experience to feel intentional, welcoming, and human. You don’t have to show up a certain way. You just have to show up.

Sean is my biggest supporter and the person behind so much of what makes Cedar & Steam possible. He’s also our go-to driver when we take the sauna on the road, helping bring these experiences wherever they’re needed.

And then there’s Frankie—the real employee of the year. She can usually be found making friends, keeping the truck safe, accepting pets, and reminding everyone that sometimes the best wellness practice is simply being around good people.

Cedar & Steam is our reminder that wellness doesn’t always have to mean doing more or doing it alone.

Sometimes it means slowing down.
Getting off your phone.
Taking a breath.
Sharing a laugh with someone you just met.
Coming back to yourself.

Because we’re not meant to do life alone.

See you in the sauna!
